Who we are
Group-Guntro BV (trading as Guntro, company and VAT number BE 0439.133.252), with its registered office at Beerveldestraat 23, 9160 Lokeren (“Guntro”, “we” or “us”), is responsible for processing your personal data as described in this privacy policy. This policy applies to guntro.be and to our divisions Guntro's Wrapdesign, Van Fit-out, Guntro's Publi-Trailer and Vuurwerktekoop.
What data we collect
We collect the personal data that you provide to us yourself:
• Quote form (Wrapdesign and Van Fit-out): surname, first name, address, postcode and town, email address, telephone number, the type of project and the options chosen, and your message. We need this data to be able to answer your request. We keep the request in our management system and automatically send you a confirmation by email;
• Orders in the Vuurwerktekoop and Publi-Trailer web shops: name, address, email address, telephone number and order details (products, quantity, price). At Vuurwerktekoop this is used to get your order ready for collection in our shop (we do not ship products). We never see your payment details, such as a card or account number: our payment provider processes them;
• Correspondence: your emails and what you tell us by phone or in the shop;
• Technical data: our hosting partner keeps your IP address, browser type and the pages visited, among other things, in server logs, to keep the websites secure and available. We only collect statistical data about your visit with your consent.
Why we process this data
• To answer and follow up your quote, order or rental request, and to prepare and carry out the agreement with you (carrying out the work, getting your order ready or delivering it, and invoicing). Legal basis: performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract;
• To comply with our accounting and other legal obligations. Legal basis: a legal obligation;
• To secure our websites and systems and to combat abuse, such as spam. Legal basis: our legitimate interest;
• To measure and improve the use of our websites. Legal basis: your consent, which you can refuse or withdraw at any time.
Cookies and local storage
On your first visit we ask for your consent to non-essential cookies via a cookie banner. Until you accept, we do not load Google Tag Manager and no connection to Google is made. Our fonts are hosted on our own server. You will find a full overview in our cookie policy.
Sharing with third parties
We never sell your data. We only share it with parties who need it to help you:
• our hosting partner (Weha, Belgium), for storing our websites, our management system and our email;
• Mollie B.V., for online payments in the web shops. Mollie is also responsible in its own right for the payment itself, see their privacy statement;
• suppliers of materials and the supplier who prints banners, to the extent necessary for your order;
• our bookkeeper or accountant;
• Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Tag Manager), only with your consent. Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, on the basis of appropriate safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We otherwise only share your data when we are legally required to do so.
Retention period
We do not keep your data for longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. We keep invoices and other accounting documents for 7 years, as required by law. We keep your quote request itself in our management system for a maximum of 2 years. After that it is deleted automatically.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability of your data and the right to object to its processing. If you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting the processing that has already taken place. Please contact us using the details below to do so. We reply within one month.
You are not obliged to provide your data, but without the data in our form we cannot handle your request. We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing.
