Searching the same drawer three times a day for a bit? See at a glance what you need and what you have to reorder.
View solution →Fitting out a van for electricians starts with your working day: cable reels that stay put, connectors and fuses sorted by type and your test equipment case protected, call-out after call-out.
This is what a day looks like with a fit-out made to measure for your trade.
Unroll what you need and no more. Never untangle a knot again before you start your first connection.
Everything sorted in its own compartments: you see straight away what is almost gone and you never stand on site empty-handed again.
Your most expensive tools are fixed in place and protected from shocks. No more knocks in bends, no more expensive surprises.
LED lighting in your load space: you find everything straight away, even where there is no power yet.
At every address everything is where you expect it. The time you save is yours, every single day.
Never buy double or grab the wrong thing again: one glance and you know what to reorder.
A quarter to eight on site, and your first job is untangling a knot of cable that rolled around the load space on the way. Loose reels snag on each other, and what can't be saved you cut off. Metres of cable, straight into the skip.
With reel holders in our fit-out every roll is fixed and set up: you unroll what you need and the rest stays neatly in place. Your draw wire, cable trunking and bending pliers also get a fixed place, as part of organising your tools in your van.
Arrive, unroll, connect.
Did you know… the complete fit-out is crash tested to ECE R17? Even a full cable reel stays put in an emergency stop.
Nothing is as frustrating as work grinding to a halt because that one connector has run out. In loose boxes and bags you only see what is missing once you are on site. And then you get to go to the wholesaler again, at best half an hour away.
In drawers with dividers every part gets a fixed place: connectors by type, fuses by kind, connection material by size. The drawers pull out fully, even when fully loaded, so you see your whole stock at a glance. What is almost gone you top up in the evening in your warehouse, not in the afternoon at the wholesaler.
Everything sorted, nothing bought twice.
Did you know… tradespeople with our fit-out save up to 30 minutes per working day? Time you now lose searching and making extra trips.
A measuring device falling out of a loose box makes for an expensive day. And once on site you often work in cellars and meter rooms where there is no power yet, with your phone torch between your teeth.
In our fit-out your test equipment travels in a closed compartment with a holder: dust-free and shock-free, neatly following the rules for transporting cargo safely in your van. And with work lighting for your van your load space is bathed in LED light, so you find every device straight away. Even at seven in the morning in January.
Always a clear view of your work and your materials.
Did you know… our LED roof rack lights up to 5 metres around your van? That way you can carry on working safely outdoors too.
A renovation today, a new build tomorrow, five call-outs the day after. No two electricians work the same. A standard cabinet that half fits therefore doesn't really fit.
Fitting out a van for electricians is bespoke work at Guntro: we start from your work sequence and your materials and build the layout in modules. Taking on an employee or switching to an electric van? Then you expand, or the fit-out simply moves with you.
If you choose aluminium, your fit-out weighs up to 30% less than steel: more payload and extra range. Read how to increase the range of your electric van.
Made to measure today, extended tomorrow.
Did you know… you can see the fit-out in person first?
Fitting out a van for electricians comes down to three things: order in your materials, light where you work and everything securely fixed.

Fitting out a van for electricians is done to measure, so the price depends on three factors: the size of your van, your choice of material and the number of modules.
That is why we work with a made-to-measure quote: that way you know exactly where you stand, with no obligation and no duty to buy.
The layout follows your work sequence: what you need on every call-out goes at the front, within easy reach. If you mostly do installations, cable reels and cable trunking get more space; if you mostly do repairs and call-outs, sorting drawers with small materials and a fixed compartment for your test equipment case come first. We draw up the layout together with you, based on what has to go in it every day.
In a closed compartment or a holder made to measure, so your multimeter and tester don't slide, get knocked or end up under other materials. The complete fit-out is crash tested and certified (TÜV GS, ECE R17, CE): even in an emergency stop everything stays in place. That way your most expensive tools last years longer.
In drawers with dividers: each type of connector and each fuse gets its own compartment. The drawers pull out fully, even when fully loaded, so you see your whole stock at a glance. You find every part in seconds and see straight away what you need to reorder, before you run out on site.
Yes. The system is modular: you add drawers, cabinets or holders later without replacing the existing fit-out. If a second van joins your fleet, you fit it out identically. That way your employee finds everything straight away and the quality of the work stays the same, whoever is driving.
We fit a standard fit-out smoothly; a complete fit-out is usually ready within two working days. We schedule the fitting shortly after your van is delivered. That way you never miss a call-out. On every fit-out you also get a 5-year full fit-out warranty.
Yes. We have fitting plans for almost every make and model, from a compact city van to a large L3H3. The modules are anchored on the original mounting points of your vehicle, so a leased van is fine too. Together with you, we look at what fits in your model.
In the short term it is, but a wooden DIY build is not anchored and not crash tested. As an electrician you know what mass and speed do: in an emergency stop a loose cabinet with cable reels shoots forward, straight into your bulkhead. Our fit-out is certified (TÜV GS, ECE R17, CE), weighs up to 30% less than steel in aluminium and lasts through several vans. If you take fitting out your van as an electrician seriously, you earn that difference back in time, safety and residual value.
Yes. Fitting out a van for electricians is about lots of small parts, cable reels and sensitive test equipment. The layout therefore focuses on fine sorting by compartment, reel holders and a protected compartment for your test equipment case.
On top of that comes lighting in the load space, so you can work even where there is no power yet. Guntro designs the layout around your work sequence.
