Our fit-out is the only commercial van fit-out in the world that uses auto-galvannealed sheet steel: the same corrosion-resistant steel as in car manufacturing, designed and produced in Italy. In the humidity test, that steel lasts more than 500 hours without corroding (ASTM D1735). Your fit-out lasts as long as your van, and longer.

Forget the homemade wooden cabinet: a certified system wins every trip
Many tradespeople build a wooden shelving unit in their load space themselves. Understandable, but wood weighs considerably more, splinters on impact and is not certified. In an emergency stop, you don't want a loose cabinet behind your back.
Our fit-out is TÜV GS and CE certified and is anchored to your chassis via a rail system with quick-release locking: you take modules out again without tools, and if you ever replace your van, a matching fit-out simply moves with you. Where weight matters, we also opt for light aluminium, up to 30% lighter than steel: more payload left over, and if you drive electric, that also means extra range for your EV.
Did you know… our fit-out is TÜV GS and CE certified? You will never get that on paper with a homemade wooden shelving unit.

How much does a van fit-out cost?
The price of a van fit-out depends on three factors: the number of modules, the choice of materials and the size of your vehicle.
- Number of modules: from a single cabinet wall to a complete fit-out along both sides.
- Materials and options: drawers, shelves, case systems and accessories also help determine the budget.
- Vehicle: an L1H1 needs less material than an L3H3.
That is why we work with a made-to-measure quote: that way you know exactly where you stand, with no obligation and no duty to buy.
Will a fit-out fit in my van?
Almost certainly. We build fit-outs for virtually every brand and model, from a compact L1H1 to a large L3H3, and fit everything to measure for your vehicle.

How long does it take to install a fit-out?
We fit a standard fit-out quickly, so your van isn't off the road for longer than necessary; a complete fit-out is usually ready within two working days.
If you combine the fit-out with floor and wall lining, floor drawers or roof racks, you get a clear schedule in advance. That way you don't lose any working days.
What material is our fit-out made of?
The basis is auto-galvannealed sheet steel: the same corrosion-resistant steel as in car manufacturing, and exclusive worldwide to our fit-out. In the humidity test it holds out for more than 500 hours without corroding. Where weight matters, light aluminium is used, up to 30% lighter than steel.
That low weight means more payload for your materials. If you drive electric, your van also gets extra range out of it.
Can I extend my fit-out later?
Yes, the system is fully modular. You start with what you need today and build on module by module: an extra drawer, a cabinet, a rack or accessories.
With more than 4,000 possible components, your fit-out grows with your business, without you having to start again. If you ever replace your van, you can take a pre-assembled drawer unit out yourself and refit it in your next van.
Do I lose load space with a fit-out?
On the contrary: a well-planned fit-out gets up to 40% more usable load space out of the same van. Cabinets and drawers use the height and the corners that are otherwise lost to loose stacks.
Guntro draws up the layout in advance, so you can see exactly how much free floor space you have left.
Does everything stay in place in an emergency stop?
Yes. Our fit-out is TÜV GS and CE certified and is anchored to the mounting points of your vehicle. Even fully loaded, everything stays in place, and the drawers themselves lock with galvanised spring clips so they don't slide open on the road.
If you also want to secure loose cargo, combine your fit-out with load securing such as lashing rails and tie-down straps.
What if something on my fit-out breaks?
Every fit-out comes with a 5-year full fit-out warranty. If something does break, we take care of the repair.
Parts remain available for years. That way your system stays fully usable for its entire service life.
Can I see a van fit-out in real life first?
Yes, and we even recommend it: a fit-out is something you have to feel.
Isn't a self-built wooden fit-out a cheaper alternative?
In the short term perhaps, but a wooden shelving unit weighs considerably more, splinters on impact and is not certified. In an inspection or an accident, you have nothing to fall back on.
Our fit-out is TÜV GS and CE certified, up to 30% lighter where aluminium is used, and when you sell your van later it counts as a plus rather than something that has to be torn out.
