Roll instead of lift

Loading heavy materials into your van

Loading heavy materials into your van does not have to cost you your back. With loading ramps, floor drawers and certified load securing, the heavy work rolls in and out while you stay upright. Loaded safely, safe on the road.

  • Roll instead of lift: machines drive in via the loading ramp
  • Load and unload from the ground: the floor drawer brings the load to you
  • Everything rock solid on the road: no sliding load in an emergency stop
  • Your back spared: that is how you keep going until retirement
loading a machine into a van
No more waiting for help

Loaded on your own with an electric hoist, no second person needed

Waiting until a colleague has time to lift that machine into the van with you? That way you lose valuable time every day, and all those lost moments are unpaid working hours.

Flexible loading system that preserves load space

The innovative design preserves as much load space as possible. The EasyLoad combines ideally with a commercial van interior fit-out. After use, you slide the EasyLoad aside from the middle of the load space, so that maximum space remains for tools or cargo.

With this compact vehicle loading crane you can easily lift loads of 250 kg or 500 kg and manoeuvre them in the load space. Ideal for loading and unloading tools, machines and goods. The winch and the lifting beam are operated electrically at the push of a button.

Hoist for vans
The heavy work comes to you

Load and unload from the ground: the floor drawer rolls the load to you

Is your heaviest material always right at the back? Then you crawl in after it bent over, with your knees on the load floor and your head against the ceiling.

With pull-out floor drawers you pull the full load out and pick up everything standing upright, straight from the ground. The drawer rolls out smoothly, even heavily loaded, and then slides neatly back under the load floor.

Your body is your livelihood

Spare your back and knees: load with technique, not muscle power

Lifting too much every day: you feel it in the evening, and your body keeps count. For a tradesperson, a worn-out back is not an inconvenience but a direct threat to your business.

Loading ramps, roller systems and drawers at grip height take the lifting out of your working day. You load with technique instead of muscle power and you get home fresher in the evening. That is how you keep going until retirement.

Moto vervoer project: bespoke van fit-out
Made to measure for your load

Made to measure for your load, from L1H1 to L3H3

Tiles, batteries, generators or machines: no two tradespeople load the same thing. That is why we tailor ramps, drawers and fixing points to what you carry every day, from a compact L1H1 to a large L3H3 and for almost every make. The system is modular: if your work changes, your fit-out simply expands with it.

Choose between sturdy steel or aluminium up to 30% lighter. Every kilo less your fit-out weighs is payload for your materials. Do you drive electric? Then lighter also means more range for your EV.

Did you know… aluminium is up to 30% lighter than steel at the same load-bearing capacity? In heavy transport every kilo of payload counts.

Floor drawers, Guntro drawers
Protection that pays for itself

Your expensive machines protected, your van worth more

A generator that slides against the wall in an emergency stop means thousands of euros in damage in no time. And a battered load space pushes down the resale value of your van at every resale.

With fixed positions, a protected load floor and solid anchoring, your machines and your van stay in top condition. You see that on every job, and you feel it in your wallet when you trade in your van later.

A strap over it is not enough

Certified to ECE R17: more than a strap over your load

A strap over it and done? In an emergency stop, heavy material simply keeps sliding. That is extremely dangerous for you and your passenger, and if cargo is damaged or lost you risk a fine and remain liable.

Loading heavy materials into your van calls for certified load securing: lashing rails, lashing bars and anchor points, crash-tested to TÜV GS, ECE R17 and CE. Everything stays rock solid, on every trip and in every emergency stop.

Frequently asked questions about loading heavy materials into your van

What does loading heavy materials into your van cost?

The price of loading heavy materials into your van depends on three factors: the type of loading aid, your choice of material and the extent of the load securing.

  • Type of loading aid: a loading ramp is simpler than a combination with pull-out floor drawers.
  • Material: steel is the cheapest option, aluminium is up to 30% lighter.
  • Load securing: from a few anchor points to lashing rails in the floor and walls.

That is why we work with a made-to-measure quote: that way you know exactly where you stand, with no obligation and no duty to buy.

How long does it take to fit a loading system?

We schedule the fitting of a loading system shortly after your vehicle is delivered. Dropped off in the morning, ready to load by the evening: your ramps and drawers are fitted the same day.

If you opt for extensive made-to-measure work, such as floor drawers together with floor and wall lining, you know in advance exactly how long your van will be with us.

Should I choose steel or aluminium for my loading system?

Steel and aluminium both meet the required strength; the right choice depends on your priorities.

  • You choose steel for the keenest price and maximum robustness under intensive use.
  • You choose aluminium when weight matters: it is up to 30% lighter and does not rust. In heavy transport that means extra payload, and an electric van gets extra range out of it.

Not sure? We advise you based on your load and your daily work.

How much weight can I load in my van?

Your van's payload is the difference between the maximum permitted mass (MTM) and the kerb weight; both are on your certificate of conformity. Everything you fit counts towards the kerb weight.

If you choose an aluminium fit-out, it weighs up to 30% less than steel, so you keep more payload for your machines and materials. We are happy to work it out for you.

Can I extend my loading system later?

Yes, our fit-out is modular, so it can always be extended. If a heavier machine comes along or your work changes, you add an extra loading ramp, floor drawer or extra anchor points without replacing the existing fit-out.

That also makes the system worthwhile when you change vans: many parts simply move across to your next vehicle.

What if something breaks on my loading system?

Every loading ramp and floor drawer from us is covered by a 5-year full warranty on the fit-out. If something does fail, we take care of the repair.

Parts remain available for years, including for older loading systems.

Why choose Guntro for loading heavy equipment into my van?

For heavy loading you can count on four strengths that you rarely get together:

  • Steel or aluminium, chosen to suit your payload.
  • Ramps and drawers made to measure for your load and your trade.
  • A modular system that grows with your business.
  • 5-year warranty on the fit-out plus aftercare from us.

Will a loading system fit in my van?

Yes, almost always. From a compact L1H1 to a large L3H3: we put together ramps, drawers and anchor points to suit your vehicle and your load, with a robust Iveco Daily leading the way.

Not sure about your model? See the brands or ask us, we know the dimensions by heart.

Aren't loose straps enough to secure heavy equipment?

For heavy equipment, a loose strap over the load is not enough. Without proper anchor points the load simply keeps sliding forward in an emergency stop, and if cargo is damaged or lost you risk a fine and are liable.

Certified load securing (TÜV GS, ECE R17, CE) combines lashing rails, lashing bars and fixed anchor points, matched to the weight of your load. Want to go deeper? Then also see securing cargo safely in your van.
