Floor drawers for your van make that forgotten space usable. The FLOOR UP system folds exceptionally long and spacious drawers vertically away under a slightly raised load floor, at the rear and at the side, supplemented with fixed storage compartments under that same floor. That way you create extra storage space without giving up a single centimetre of load floor.
Did you know… you can place your floor drawers not only at the rear but also at the side? That way you can also simply get at your materials through the side door.

In a floor drawer your materials lie at the lowest point of your van. The drawers are exceptionally long and spacious, so storing long materials is easy: profiles, pipes and heavy tools slide neatly in. Everything is secured, low and out of the way.

Many tradespeople knock together a wooden false floor themselves. Understandable, but wood weighs considerably more, has no extendable runners and is not certified. And at the back you still end up groping around on your knees.
Our floor drawers are made of light aluminium, up to 30% lighter than steel, and carry a TÜV GS and CE certificate. You keep more payload, and if you drive electric, that also means extra range for your EV. In case of damage or dispute you are also in a stronger position with a certified system than with a DIY build.

The price of floor drawers for your van depends on three factors: the number of drawers, the placement and the combination with the rest of your fit-out.
- Number and size: one drawer at the rear or several drawers across the whole floor.
- Placement: at the rear, at the side or both.
- Combination: floor drawers are often fitted together with a new load floor and further fit-out.

How much weight can a floor drawer carry?
Every FLOOR UP floor drawer carries up to 80 kg. More than enough for spare tools, long profiles and pipes together.
The drawers come in two heights, 10 and 20 cm, with a handle along the full length, an opening stop and raised side walls so nothing falls out while you drive. Tell us what needs to go in them when you request your quote, and we will match the number of drawers and the layout to that.
How much load height do I lose with floor drawers?
That depends on the height of the drawer and the build-up of your new load floor. The drawers tuck away vertically beneath the floor, so the space above stays usable across the full surface.

Will floor drawers fit in my van?
Almost certainly. We supply floor drawers for nearly every make and model, from a compact L1H1 to a large L3H3, and we fit everything made to measure for your vehicle. FLOOR UP was even developed specifically to make the most of the load volume of compact vans up to 5 m³.

How long does it take to fit floor drawers?
We schedule a standard installation shortly after your vehicle is delivered; a complete fit-out is usually ready within two working days. The FLOOR UP system is designed for easy fitting, so your van is off the road no longer than necessary.
If you combine the floor drawers with a full fit-out or new floor and wall lining, you will get a clear schedule in advance. That way you do not lose any working days.
Why are the floor drawers made of aluminium?
Aluminium is up to 30% lighter than steel at the same load capacity, and it does not rust. That lower weight counts twice for a system that sits under your entire load floor: you keep more payload for your materials.
Do you drive electric? Then every kilo saved also gets your van more range from the same charge.
Can I combine floor drawers with the rest of my fit-out?
Yes, floor drawers are fully modular and form the bottom layer of your fit-out. Above the floor you can combine them freely with cabinets, drawers and racking.
Often combined: modular cabinets and drawers above the floor, load securing for what stands on the floor and horizontal drawer systems for your small parts.
What if something breaks on my floor drawers?
Every fit-out from us comes with a 5-year full fit-out warranty, including your floor drawers. If something does break, we arrange the repair.
Parts such as guides and dividers remain available for years. That way your system stays fully usable for its entire lifespan.
Can I see floor drawers in person first?
Yes, and we even recommend it: you have to feel a floor drawer slide.
Isn't a self-built false floor a cheaper alternative?
In the short term perhaps, but a wooden false floor weighs considerably more, has no pull-out guides and is not certified. You will keep kneeling to fish the materials at the back out of the depths.
Our floor drawers are TÜV GS and CE certified, fully extendable and light thanks to aluminium. In case of damage or a dispute you stand stronger with a certified system, and when you sell your van it is a selling point rather than something that has to be ripped out.
