Transporting cargo safely
Cargo shifting at every bend, and the worry of a fine at a roadside check. Everything properly secured, no stress.
View solution →Load securing for your van keeps your cargo in place: lashing rails along the wall and floor, adjustable aluminium lashing bars and sturdy straps. Everything is secured in a few steps, TÜV GS and CE certified.
You brake hard for a cyclist, and in the back your whole load slides forward. According to the European Commission, 25% of accidents involving vans are caused by loose or poorly secured cargo.
With load securing for your van you fix that cargo in place before you set off: lashing bars block the large items, straps pull the rest tight. That way you can transport your cargo safely, trip after trip.
Did you know… that in six out of ten cases of loose cargo, the items are too large or too heavy for cabinets and drawers? That is exactly what load securing is for.
Straps you hook behind a cabinet, a rope round the wheel arch: that bodging costs you time on every trip. And anything half secured will still shift.
The lashing rails run along the wall and floor of your load space, and if you wish even along the ceiling, so you always have an anchor point in the right place. You click the adjustable aluminium lashing bars to the size of your load, and the straps pull everything tight. If you combine the rails with floor and wall lining, your load space is protected and equipped in one go.
Did you know… the lashing bars are adjustable? Today you clamp a washing machine with them, tomorrow three boxes of tiles.
At a roadside check only one question counts: is your load secured? Poorly secured cargo means a fine and makes you liable in case of damage.
With a TÜV GS and CE certified system that follows the European directive 2014/47/EU on load securing, you show in black and white that your equipment is safely secured. That avoids arguments at an inspection, and in case of damage or an accident you stand on much firmer ground than with a rope and good intentions.
Did you know… that correct load securing is a legal requirement? A certified system turns that obligation into a habit of a few seconds.
A box of straps from the DIY store seems to do the same job. Until you look for something to hook them to: a handle, a hinge, the leg of a rack. A fixing point that is not designed for those forces gives way just when it has to hold.
We anchor the lashing rails to the structure of your van, expertly fitted to measure. The aluminium lashing bars are up to 30% lighter than steel ones: less weight on board, and if you drive electric, your battery keeps more range. If you work with a bulkhead, the rails and bulkhead together form a double line of defence.
Did you know… a strap is only as strong as its anchor point? That is why we fix the lashing rails firmly to the structure of your load space.
Every part is made for daily loading and unloading. We agree the exact configuration of rails, bars and straps in your quote, matched to your load space and cargo.

View product →The price of load securing for your van depends on three factors: the length of your load space, the number of bars and straps and the combination with the rest of your fit-out.
That is why we work with a made-to-measure quote: that way you know exactly where you stand, with no obligation and no duty to buy.
Yes. Your load must be secured while driving; this is checked at roadside inspections. Loose or poorly secured cargo can result in a fine and makes you liable in case of damage or an accident.
With a TÜV GS and CE certified system of lashing rails, bars and straps, built in line with the European directive 2014/47/EU, you meet that obligation without thinking about it on every trip.
In a few steps. You click the lashing bar into the rail at the height you need, slide your load against it and tighten a strap where necessary. No fiddling or improvising involved.
Because the rails run along the wall, floor and, if you wish, the ceiling, you never have to search for an anchor point: there is always one in the right place. And because Airline is an open standard, straps and bars from other suppliers also fit in the same rails.
Almost certainly. We fit made-to-measure load securing in virtually every make and model, from a compact L1H1 to a large L3H3.
Not sure about your model? Browse the brands or ask Guntro: we know the dimensions of every van.
We schedule a standard installation shortly after your vehicle is delivered; a complete full fit-out is usually done within two working days. The rails are firmly anchored to the structure of your load space, so your van is not off the road longer than necessary.
If you combine the load securing with floor and wall lining or a complete fit-out, you get a clear schedule in advance. That way you lose no working days.
Aluminium is strong enough to hold your load in place, but up to 30% lighter than steel. A bar you move every day should feel light in the hand, and every kilo less means more payload for your equipment.
Do you drive electric? Then every kilo saved also gets your van more range from the same charge.
Lashing bars block large, solid items: machines, appliances, stacks of boxes. You clamp them in the rails right up against the load, so it cannot slide. Straps pull irregular or stacked cargo tight against the wall or floor.
In practice you combine both: the bar holds back the weight, the strap keeps everything in place. Together with you we look at what you carry every day and put together the right mix.
Yes, and that is actually the best approach. Cabinets and drawers store your small items; the lashing rails, bars and straps secure everything that is too large or too heavy for them.
Often combined: a bulkhead as the last line of defence towards the cab and floor and wall lining in which the rails are integrated straight away.
Yes, and we recommend it: you have to click a lashing bar into the rail yourself to feel how firmly it sits.
For a one-off transport perhaps, but loose straps are only as strong as the point you hook them to. A handle or rack leg is not designed for that and gives way just when it has to hold.
Our lashing rails are firmly anchored to the structure of your van and the complete system is TÜV GS and CE certified. In case of an inspection, damage or a dispute, that puts you on much firmer ground than a box of straps without papers.
