How much does a Toyota van fit-out cost?
The price of a Toyota van fit-out depends on three factors: the version, the material and the number of modules.
- Version: a Proace City needs a compact set, while a Proace Long has room for a full workshop.
- Material: steel is the cheapest option, aluminium is up to 30% lighter.
- Composition: from a basic set with drawers to a complete fit-out with a workbench.

Does our fit-out fit every Toyota?
Yes, Guntro can fit out a Toyota van for every common version: Proace and Proace City, in all sizes from Compact to Long, and so also the Proace Electric and Proace City Electric. We draw up the layout to the exact dimensions of your van, accurate to the millimetre around wheel arches and door openings.
In most cases we can also fit out an older Toyota without any problem.
Does the warranty on my Toyota stay valid after the installation?
We take that into account: the fit-out is fitted on the existing mounting points of your Toyota, to the rules of the trade and with minimal impact. Have your specific warranty terms confirmed by your Toyota retailer; we are happy to coordinate the installation with them.
How soon after delivery will my new Toyota be fitted out?
We usually schedule the installation straight after delivery or shortly afterwards, so you lose no working time. If you plan the fit-out together with your order, that day is reserved straight away.
Is a fit-out possible in a leased Toyota?
Yes. The fit-out is fitted on the existing mounting points and can be fully removed: at the end of your contract you hand the van back neatly. Tell your leasing company beforehand; we supply all the technical datasheets they need.
Can I transfer the fit-out to my next Toyota?
Yes. Because our fit-out is modular, it moves with you: when you change your Toyota, we remove cabinets, drawers and racking and transfer them to the new van with adapter pieces.
How long does the installation in my Proace take?
We fit a standard fit-out quickly; a complete fit-out is usually ready within two working days. We plan larger configurations carefully in advance, so you know exactly when your van is ready. If you ever need a repair, we arrange it for you.
I drive a Proace Electric. Will the fit-out cost me range?
Hardly, if you choose light material. We fit out electric Toyotas with aluminium: up to 30% lighter than steel and anchored just as firmly. That keeps your payload and your range. You can read everything about weight and kilometres on our page about increasing the range of your electric van.
Isn't building something myself in my Toyota an alternative?
A wooden home-made build seems cheaper, but it is heavy, is rarely anchored properly and becomes a projectile in an emergency stop. Our fit-out is crash-tested and certified (TÜV GS, ECE R17, CE), is fixed to your van's mounting points and uses up to 40% more load space than loose boxes and racking.
