There is no fixed price for fitting out a Volkswagen van; three things determine the cost: your model, your material and your configuration.

• Model: a compact set is enough in a Caddy Cargo, while a Crafter with 18.4 m³ has room for a complete workshop.
• Material: steel is the cheapest option; aluminium weighs up to 30% less.
• Configuration: a few drawers or a complete fit-out with workbench and racking, the choice is yours.

Yes, Guntro can fit out a Volkswagen van of any common model: Caddy Cargo, Transporter, Crafter and ID. Buzz Cargo, in every length and height combination. We design to the exact dimensions of your version, accurate to the millimetre around wheel arches and door openings.

We can almost always fit out older Transporters and Crafters without any problems too.

Our way of working takes this into account: we only fit to the existing mounting points of your Volkswagen, without major modifications. For formal certainty about your version, you can contact your authorised Volkswagen partner; we are happy to coordinate the fitting with them.

Yes. Everything is fitted to the existing mounting points, so the fit-out can be removed and you hand the van back in good condition at the end of your contract. Agree the terms with your leasing company beforehand; we supply the technical documentation.

Yes, your fit-out is not tied to a single Volkswagen. Moving to another van, from Transporter to Crafter for example, is a matter of removing it, adding adapter pieces and refitting. Your investment simply keeps on driving.

We fit a standard fit-out smoothly; a complete fit-out is usually ready within two working days. We plan the fitting shortly after your van is delivered. For large configurations in a Crafter, we agree a clear schedule beforehand. If a fault occurs, we arrange the repair.

Little, if you build light. Weight is the biggest enemy of your range, so for electric Volkswagens we choose aluminium modules: up to 30% lighter than steel and just as firmly anchored. For your wallet it seems so, for your safety and your load space it is not. Home-built wooden racking is heavy, makes poor use of the space and slides through the load space in an emergency stop. Our fit-out is crash-tested and certified (TÜV GS, ECE R17, CE), anchored to your van's mounting points, and gives you up to 40% more usable load space.
