Flexible fit-out
Does your work area change but your van doesn't? A modular system that you can switch from a plumber's to an electrician's setup in half an hour.
View solution →Fitting out a van for couriers starts with your rhythm: quickly loaded in the morning, every parcel found straight away and racking that folds away when one big item has to come along.
This is what a round looks like with a load space made to measure for your work.
Each shelf has its part of the round. You load in a fixed order and leave while others are still stacking.
Sorted by street or by priority: door open, grab, ring the bell. No more rummaging at the back for a single parcel.
Racking open for lots of small parcels, racking closed for one large item. Your load space adapts to the day, not the other way round.
Raised edges and a slightly sloping shelf surface keep boxes in place, tie-down straps and dividers do the rest. No more delivering dented corners.
Your van stands unattended at front doors all day. Tools are stored securely with safety stops, and an extra lock on your rear door and sliding side door keeps the load space shut.
Lease term over? The fit-out is bolted, not welded: it simply moves with you to your next van.
Fixed racking is great, until the day a washing machine has to go in. Then you are stuck at the depot puzzling over a load space that won't give.
You operate our fold-down racking with one hand: you release the locking pin without tools. Racking open for hundreds of parcels, racking closed and you have one flat load space for that one big item. It comes in 7 lengths, and shelves at the same height form one continuous surface, even for long boxes. That is how fitting out your van flexibly works for a courier.
Fold open, load, drive.
Did you know… you operate the fold-down racking with one hand? In a minute your load space is completely flat.
Ten minutes rummaging at the back for one parcel: you drag that delay along for the rest of your round. And every box that slides along the way arrives dented or cracked at the customer.
On the shelves you sort your parcels by street, by round or by priority. They carry 80 kg per running metre, raised edges and a slightly sloping shelf surface keep everything in place, and with tie-down straps and dividers you secure your larger items following the rules for transporting cargo safely in your van.
Stop, grab, ring the bell.
Did you know… the shelves are matched to standard European crates and boxes? Your depot sorting system fits in your van.
In and out, in and out, day after day: no load space takes as much punishment as a courier's. Bare walls are covered in dents before the first year is out, and a van that stands unattended at front doors all day attracts the wrong attention.
Floor and wall lining absorbs the knocks: a 12 mm waterproof plywood floor with a non-slip layer and wall panels that can take a bump. Your most valuable items are well protected: tools are stored neatly and securely with safety stops, and with a security lock on your doors nobody gets in easily. Still a clean van after three years of rounds.
Did you know… a protected load floor makes the difference on trade-in or at the end of your lease contract? Otherwise you pay for dents and scratches.
City rounds with hundreds of small parcels call for a different load space than regional rounds with big boxes. No two couriers load the same, so your layout has to follow your round.
With us, fitting out a van for couriers is bespoke work: we start from your volumes and your loading rhythm and build the layout in modules. If you drive several vans, you fit them out identically: every driver finds everything in the same place, whichever van they get into. And because everything is bolted and not welded, the fit-out simply moves with you to your next van.
Many couriers drive electric. If you choose aluminium, your fit-out weighs up to 30% less than steel: more payload and extra range. Read how to increase the range of your electric van.
Made to measure today, coming along in your next van tomorrow.
Did you know… you can see the fit-out in person first?
Fitting out a van for couriers comes down to three things: a load space that adapts, parcels that arrive in one piece and a van that can keep up with your pace.

Fitting out a van for couriers is done to measure, so the price depends on three factors: the size of your van, your choice of material and the number of racks and modules.
That is why we work with a made-to-measure quote, free and with no obligation: that way you know exactly where you stand. We schedule the fitting shortly after your van is delivered, so you never miss a round.
The layout follows your round: if you drive city rounds with hundreds of small parcels, you get lots of shelves and fine sorting; if you drive regional rounds with larger boxes, you keep more floor space and work with fewer, sturdier levels. Together with you we look at your volumes and your loading rhythm and draw up the layout around them.
In seconds per rack: you release the locking pin with one hand, without tools. In a minute your whole load space is flat. The fold-down racking comes in 7 lengths, and shelves at the same height form one continuous surface that long boxes fit on too.
The shelves have raised edges and a slightly sloping surface, so boxes stay in place while you drive. You secure larger or heavier items with straps and dividers. The whole fit-out is also crash-tested and certified (TÜV GS, ECE R17, CE): everything stays put even in an emergency stop.
Yes. You fold the racking shut on one or both sides and immediately have a flat load space over the full length. You secure the large item with straps to the lashing eyes in the floor. The next day you fold the racking open again and simply do your parcel round.
As a courier your van is left unattended dozens of times a day, so that is a fair concern. Tools are stored securely with safety stops, so nothing slides about while you drive. Against break-ins you fit an extra lock on your rear door and your side sliding door, with its own cylinder separate from your van key. For a courier a slam lock is usually the right choice: it locks by itself as soon as you slam the door, so you can’t forget it. Read how to secure your van.
Yes. We have fitting plans for almost every make and model, from L1H1 to L3H3. The folding racking is made for the common courier vans such as the Ducato, Master, Crafter, Transit and Sprinter. Everything is anchored to the original mounting points of your vehicle, so a lease van works too.
Yes. The fit-out is bolted, not welded: it is removed and refitted in your next van without touching the structure of the vehicle. For couriers who swap lease vans every few years, that means: invest once, use it across several vans.
In the short term, yes, but a home-built wooden rack is heavy, splinters and is not anchored. You drive thousands of kilometres a week, often in city traffic full of emergency stops: a loose wooden rack full of parcels then shoots forward, straight into your bulkhead. Our fit-out is crash-tested and certified (TÜV GS, ECE R17, CE), folds open when you want it to and moves with you to your next van. Anyone who takes fitting out a van for couriers seriously earns that difference back on every round.
Yes. Fitting out a van for couriers is not about a workshop on wheels, but about throughput: loading quickly, finding every parcel straight away and a load space that can be arranged differently every day.
That is why folding racking is central: open for hundreds of parcels, shut for one large item. On top of that come load securing and a hard-wearing lining, because no van gets more wear and tear than a courier’s.
